CAN YOU JUST GET BRACES ON THE TOP OR BOTTOM TEETH?

It is not recommended to treat only one arch at a time orthodontically. Orthodontic treatment will alter the alignment of teeth and the width of the arch, in addition to other factors. The top and the bottom arches must be coordinated during treatment to create an ideal bite, and for this reason, comprehensive orthodontic treatment is recommended.

In certain cases, a "hybrid" orthodontic approach may be possible, in which clear aligners can be used on one arch, and traditional brackets used on the other arch for all or part of your treatment.

During the initial consultation, your orthodontist will offer you all of the options suitable for your case.
