Fluoride rinses, such as ACT Anticavity Fluoride Mouthwash, are mouthwashes that contain fluoride. Swishing the product may help you eliminate leftover food particles. They strengthen the teeth using fluoride which helps to remineralize the enamel.
Plaque and calculus are not removed by swishing with fluoride rinses. Neither mouthwashes nor fluoride rinses are a substitute for regular tooth brushing and flossing.
Remove your Invisalign aligners prior to swishing with the fluoride rinse. This will allow maximum contact of the fluoride rinse with the tooth surface, and prevent staining of your aligners.
